About Me

Coming from a family with 3 generations of therapists and psychologists, I never had a doubt that helping people get a peace of mind is my calling as well. For years, I’ve been providing individual & family counseling, focusing on helping you all achieve a kind of mental zen that’s so crucial in the hectic world we live in today.
Experienced in applying all kinds of techniques, I feel fully prepared for helping you get your psychological health and well-being back on track. My approach will get anyone out of the deepest depression hole!

My Approach

Individually tailored

No single psychological state is the same, nor the patient. This is why my professional goal is to tailor my approach in counseling to the unique set of circumstances of any individual patient.

In my practice I never underestimate and I always assess any life struggles as those that are understood not as problems to be fixed or eradicated, but rather as important indications & knowledge that must be used in the healing process.

My stance is that everyone has both a set of weaknesses and a set of strengths. As a counseling professional, I will do my best to eliminate the former and to empower the latter. Any person that seeks therapy has a set of strengths.

My personal perception of the relationship between a therapist and a patient is that of an equal partnership with shared motivations and goals. I facilitate and help support a process we co-create together.

I’ve been in the counseling business for years upon years. And let me tell you one thing - every single person and every single new patient enrich my experience and understanding of my craft.

As someone with formal medical training, I am convinced that any psychological issue should be taken holistically. Body, heart, mind, and spirit are all equally important here.

How It Works

  • 1

    1st Phase

Let's first start with a free 15-minute phone conversation to better understand your particular issue and how I can help you.

  • 2

    2nd Phase

I will determine the causes of your problem and develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific concerns.

  • 3

    Final Phase

The treatment typically happens individually or in groups. During our talking therapy, we'll find a way to overcome your challenges.

"After suffering a horrible chain of events last year, I was drowning in a depression. Thank God, there are psychologists like Lisa. After 5 months with her, I feel at peace with myself again."

Simon N.

"Thank you for your help! It has drastically changed my whole life. Lisa is extremely friendly, careful, and attentive to details. I am going to continue my treatment here. I would highly recommend!"

Jennifer H.

"Lisa is a wonderful doctor with her unique style and contribution to my experience here. She taught me how to overcome any difficulties with ease. She made my life stress-free and peaceful. Thanks a lot!"

Free First Consultation

I offer a 20-minute free first consultation to all my would-be patients. It will give you a chance to describe your particular issue, ask any questions about my experience and services, and to come to a decision about whether I am the right therapist for you.

  • What is a typical therapy appointment?

Appointments usually last about 45 minutes. The sessions are held once or twice a week which depends on your special situation. You should attend the therapies regularly, come on time, and cancel in only urgent cases.
  • How frequently will I visit you?

During our initial consultation, we'll discuss the schedule that fits your needs the best. Typically, we'll set up a specific date and time to meet once or twice a week. Based on your treatment, a higher frequency of sessions may be offered.
  • What benefits can I expect from working with a therapist?

Psychotherapy sessions offer plenty of benefits. Counseling therapies help save and improve the lives of many people struggling with mental health disorders. Mental health counseling treatments can accentuate your background, feelings and emotions, thoughts and behavior, or a mix of all these elements. Looking for counseling is a feature of spirit and power because it's a considerable step to start control your mental health and build the life you dreamed of, a life which is worth living.
